This publication is part of the “Maia Biennial of Contemporary Art’19”, under the theme “Import/Export” with the aim of reflecting the mutation and, at the same time, elaborate perceptions about identity in this contemporary orbit.
It brings together curatorial texts by the head curator, Andreia Garcia, and the co-curators, Diogo Aguiar, Javier Peña Ibáñez, Luís Albuquerque Pinho, Luís Pinto Nunes, Sara Orsi and Vera Sacchetti, as well as all the artistic projects, including images of the process and texts, and all the parallel programme in a way to preserve the memory of this project for the future.
